The John McIlroy Senior family donated a challenge gift of $100,000 to be matched by the Pike County community. The gift generated an amazing amount of community support that enabled the Foundation to move forward with the project of building a new Emergency Department.

THIRD-FLOOR PATIENT ROOM UPDATE - $170,000
The patient rooms on the third floor were upgraded to include new wiring, vanities, flooring, wallpaper and curtains.

The dialysis department was upgraded to accommodate two more dialysis patients, upgrade wiring and flooring, new nurse's station, and new wallpaper, paint and curtains.

OUTPATIENT SURGERY DEPARTMENT UPGRADE- $100,000
The department was expanded to almost twice its original size to add additional patient recovery rooms and to provide privacy. A handicapped-accessible bathroom was added along with a secure file room and new nurse's station.

AUTOPULSE® CARDIAC PUMP - $45,000
One AutoPulse® Cardiac Pump was purchased by the Foundation in April 2010; funds are currently being raised to provide two more cardiac pumps for the ambulances.
