EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT - $200,000
The John McIlroy Senior family donated a challenge gift of $100,000 to be matched by the Pike County community. The gift generated an amazing amount
of community support that enabled the Foundation to move forward with the project of building a new Emergency Department.
PACS SYSTEM - $131,500
A system which digitally captures and stores X-rays, CAT scans and MRIs on a computer hard drive and allows medical personnel to view these images.
DEXASCAN MACHINE- $64,000
Whole body scanning to determine patients' bone density.
PORTABLE X-RAY - $37,000
A smaller, portable X-ray machine that can be moved to patients in the ER exam rooms and/or patient rooms.
THIRD-FLOOR PATIENT ROOM UPDATE - $170,000
The patient rooms on the third floor were upgraded to include new wiring, vanities, flooring, wallpaper and curtains.
DIALYSIS UNIT UPDATE - $75,000
The dialysis department was upgraded to accommodate two more dialysis patients, upgrade wiring and flooring, new nurse's station, and new wallpaper, paint and curtains.
OUTPATIENT SURGERY DEPARTMENT UPGRADE- $100,000
The department was expanded to almost twice its original size to add additional patient recovery rooms and to provide privacy. A handicapped-accessible bathroom was added along with a secure file room and new nurse's station.
AUTOPULSE® CARDIAC PUMP - $45,000
One AutoPulse® Cardiac Pump was purchased by the Foundation in April 2010; funds are currently being raised to provide two more cardiac pumps for the ambulances.
